The hustle and bustle of Port Calpe is something Bako has only ever experienced during festival season in his own nameless village. With a rigid brow and proud, intimidating stance, he certainly doesn't look as awed and overwhelmed as he feels - but his unimpressed appearance isn't for show; his face is just one nigh incapable of expression. He has never been this far from home, but though his quest is not a happy one, he can't help but feel a bit like a small child going on a family trip.
A weapons dealer with a stand in the shadows beckons him closer, recognizing the air of warrior. Bako respectfully peruses the vendor's wares, though he is loath to part with the ones he already carries on his person. Still, had he the money, he would at least consider the bejeweled cudgel, studded with a good-sized Kyre Gem. He personally has no need for its enchantment, being a wielder of natural magic himself, but it is nonetheless an impressive sight.
He politely declines the merchant's offers and makes his way through the market, still on the hunt for somewhere affordable to eat and sleep for the night.
